Sketch Jams are FREE and open to Houston-based or visiting sketch writers, improvisers, and performers. All levels of experience are welcome. Must be at 18 years old unless accompanied by parent or guardian. Schedules may be adjusted for Holidays & Special Events.

A Sketch Comedy Writing Meetup
Third Sunday of each month; 4:00-6:00 pm
Each Jam will start with a warm up and Improv-to-Sketch Jam to generate sketch ideas. The remainder of the time will be spent in a Writers' Room environment. Attendees can write sketches based on ideas generated in the Jam, pitch new ideas, share incomplete sketches for help, or partner up to write sketches. FREE ticket recommended to secure your spot.

Video Sketch Meetup
First Sunday of each month; 4:00-6:00 pm
This event is for those who want to learn the technical aspects of creating video sketches, including lighting, shot framing, sound quality, and editing. Participants will learn to create comedic video sketches for platforms like YouTube, Reels, TikTok, and Comedy Festival submissions. FREE ticket recommended to secure your spot.

IMPROV TROUPES AND SKETCH PRODUCERS & DIRECTORS
Station AV Club is also an opportunity for sketch troupes to have the AV team professionally produce multi-angle video sketches and improv troupes to record sets for comedy festival submissions. Videos may be used for YouTube, Social Media, and Festival Submissions.
