FAQs
Will water be available or will I be able to purchase refreshments from the Box office?
Concessions are not available. Access to the water cooler will also be unavailable at this time due to possible cross-contamination. Students are encouraged to bring their own water bottles, although they will not be able to store them in our refrigerator.
***
Will I be required to wear my mask for the duration of the class?
Yes. Students and instructors will be required to wear their masks at all times in the building and during class. Instructors will be advised to schedule breaks to allow students to go outside if they wish to take a break from wearing their masks. Students will be required to put their masks back on prior to re-entering.
***
What will class be like?
Our instructors have been advised to develop curriculum-specific exercises that can be performed while masked, physically distanced, and requiring no physical contact. Classes will also be kept to 12 or fewer to allow for proper distance between individuals. We will allow ample time for cleaning and sanitizing before the next group of students enters the building.
***
What should I do if I do not feel well on the day of class?
If you are experiencing COVID-like symptoms, we ask that you contact your instructor directly as early as possible. You will not be permitted to enter the building while experiencing symptoms. Students who have symptoms, test positive, or have close contact with anyone testing positive will not be allowed to attend class for either 14 days or until they receive a negative COVID-19 test. Any student who must miss more than two classes will be asked to defer their enrollment to the following term or the next time the class is offered.
***
What happens if someone in my class tests positive?
Participants will be notified if the instructor or any other students in the class test positive, respecting the anonymity of the individual. If it is determined that the class may have been exposed, the following class will be postponed and rescheduled to allow for a 14-day quarantine period.

What are you doing to ensure the cleanliness of the building?
We have done our utmost to eliminate as many high contact surfaces as possible. You will see this as fewer chairs available for your use.
This allows us to concentrate on the remaining contact surfaces, such as the remaining tables and chairs, doorknobs/handles, and bathroom surfaces. These areas are being cleaned and disinfected on a closely monitored schedule, before and after each class meeting.
Hand Sanitizer and Disinfectants will be made readily available in the building should the need for additional sanitation arise. You will find disinfectant sprays in each bathroom, and instructions on how you can help us ensure a safe and clean bathroom before and after each use.
The following protocols have been enacted to ensure that all students can participate equally, regardless of background or risk tolerance. Our goal is to return to in-person classes in a way that safely supports all students.
Classes will have no more than 14 students. If specific class levels fill, we will do our best to open an additional class at a different time. We will not add additional students so that we can safely socially distance.
Masks must be worn at all times, regardless of vaccination status.
If you must remove your mask, you must do so outside of the classroom.
Social distancing (6-feet distance) is encouraged, regardless of vaccination status.
Guests are not allowed in the building during classes.
You must bring your own water bottle or beverage for class. We will not be able to provide shared water. Please do not bring food to class.
Students must enter the class from the back door and exit through the front door.
If you do not follow the instruction of your instructor and the COVID Protocol Director, you will be asked to leave the class.
If you actively disregard COVID protocols more than three (3) times, you will be suspended from classes with Station Theater indefinitely with no refund. You must immediately leave the premises when asked.
STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Each student must complete a COVID-19 waiver before the beginning of each class level. Students will not be allowed in the building without a completed and signed waiver.
Each student must check in with the instructor before each class for a temperature check. You may not enter the Theater or Classroom until your temperature has been checked.
STATION THEATER RESPONSIBILITIES
Management will disinfect bathroom sinks, doorknobs, and chairs before each class and show.
Chairs will be set up with social distancing in mind. Please do not move the chairs.
We will consider reducing or removing restrictions as COVID numbers drop and vaccinations increase. We will give you a week’s notice for any changes to protocols.
