AUDITIONS: THIS Thursday, April 10 | 8:00–10:00 PM | Station Theater
Auditions will be casual cold reads from character sides provided that night. Roles range from big, scenery-chewing fun to more grounded gems. Additonal details in the audition form!

Rising Action: Improvised Action Movie
A new improvised action movie directed by Scott Lowe!
WHAT IS THIS ABOUT?
Rising Action is a fully improvised ACTION MOVIE, created on the spot based on a film title suggested by the audience. In rehearsals, we will break down the typical structure of an action movie, week by week, scene by scene, focusing on key devices and techniques that drive the genre. The process emphasizes strong collaboration and support, allowing us to create thrilling and unpredictable action sequences on the spot. Sounds fun, right?
IMPORTANT DATES
Sunday, 4/13/2025: AUDITIONS; 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Station Theater – 2219 Crockett. (Arrive by 1: 30 pm for warm-ups.)
Tuesday, 4/15/2025: Casting decision finalized.
Wednesday, 4/16/2025: Casting email sent.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re seeking high-energy, fun-loving individuals who thrive in an ensemble environment. Station performers and students at Level 3 and above are welcome to audition. Please note that there will be a learning curve with this format, so regular rehearsal attendance is essential for success. Alumni are highly encouraged to participate!

Cutting Room Floor is a special long form improv competition show series coordinated and hosted by Scott Lowe, Jackie Was, and Jesse Garson
needed:
THREE JUDGES PER SHOW: Judges should be instructors, coaches, or improvisers who perform regularly and are comfortable providing feedback geared towards growth.

Saturday, April 12 - Round 3 - All Four Teams
Saturday, April 26 - Round 4 - All Four Teams; Elimination Round
Saturday, May 10 - Final Round: Top TWO Teams
