What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking can be challenging during major events. Uber or Lyft rideshare services or the Metro bus service are highly recommended. The #30 bus, just a 2-minute walk away, stops at Sawyer and Shearn, providing easy access to our event.

Ample street parking is available along Crockett, Hemphill, Summer, and Taylor Streets. Please check street signs for parking availability. Only park in the lot in front of Toros HTX if it is closed. Please be mindful when parking in front of area homes, as some driveways are difficult to see.

Station Theater is not responsible for damage or theft to vehicles or vehicle contents, nor are we responsible for any damage or fees due to towing.

If your car is towed, please call 713-308-8580. Please be aware that it may take up to 2 hours for the information to show up in their system.

Can I bring children under 18?

Station's shows are recommended for adult audiences (PG-13 and up). Small children who might disturb other audience members will not be admitted.

While Station Theater promotes inclusiveness and positive values, the nature of improv comedy is such that we cannot guarantee the content of all shows will be appropriate for all audiences. Use discretion when bringing younger audience members.

***

Is the audience involved in the show?

Improv teams will likely ask an audience member to shout out a one-word suggestion or other detail to inspire the show.

Aside from this initial suggestion, we ask that you refrain from conversation and silence your devices to maintain a theater atmosphere. Heckling performers is not permitted.

Do you have drinks for sale?

All shows are BYOB unless otherwise noted. Station does not provide ice, cups, or any other set-ups. Audience members over 21 may bring a six-pack or a bottle of wine to shows. Small personal coolers are permitted, but the cooler must fit under your chair. We do not have a refrigerator. Please see our BYOB Policy for more details.

We have bottled water for sale at the ticket desk, or you may walk across the parking lot to the Toros HTX Cafe for light snacks and beverages. Please dispose of all trash as you leave.

Nearby breweries Buffalo Bayou Brewing Company, Holler Brewing Company, City Orchard Cidery, Platypus Brewing,  and Urban South HTX Brewery offer great BYOB craft beer options.
